Grafton

Meeting Place: 7:00am at the Maverick gas station in La Verkin (460 N State St, La Verkin, UT 84745). We will then drive over to Grafton just outside of Rockville on the way to Zion National Park. The last half mile of round into Grafton is uneven dirt but accessible by passenger car.

About: Grafton is excellent riparian habitat bordered by fields and orchards. The mulberry trees will be fruiting which draws an abundance of birds. This is the most reliable place in Greater Zion for the Vermillion Flycatcher. Walking will be on dirt paths with some uneven ground.

It is expected to be a hot day so bring plenty of water and sunscreen plus any snacks you may want.
