Lytle Ranch
Meeting Place: We will meet at 7:00am at the Bureau of Land Management offices at 345 E Riverside Dr, St. George for carpooling. We plan to be at the turnoff from Old Hwy 91 and Lytle Ranch Road around 7:45am. We will drive slowly out to the ranch looking for Canyon Wren, Loggerhead Shrike, and even Burrowing Owl and arrive at the ranch around 8:15am - 8:30am.
About: Lytle Ranch is designated as an Important Birding Area by Audubon. It has the only year-round running water in this northernmost reaches of the Mojave Desert. It combines desert and riparian habitat unrivaled in our area.
