The trip leader confirmed the roads are passable and the weather will be cold, but good. In Beryl there may be mud on the sides of the road when you pull off, but no snow. Trucks, SUVs, and all wheel drive vehicles are preferred. We will carpool. It should be a great trip!!
About: Join us for a trip to Beryl Junction to view the common winter raptors of our area. We expect to see Bald and Golden Eagles, Red-tailed, Rough-legged, and Ferruginous Hawks. Falcons and Kestrels will also be a possibility. Of course we will bird any good areas while there.
Dress warm for the weather! Bring your own water and snacks/lunch.
Meeting Location: BLM parking lot. 345 E. Riverside Drive, St. George. Meet at 8:00am to carpool and caravan. We will also stop at the Sinclair gas station in Enterprise around 9:00am if you want to meet us there.
